Better late than never!

I'm SO sorry for not having updates today. We're down two people to due to illness/plan changes so unfortunately needed to concentrate on the families who are here.

Having said that, this morning marked an exciting day, a "first" for the ECRO as they held their first "mini-feis" (traditional set competition) for those dancers who are not qualified for solos. It's been a wonderful way for them to have their first Oireachtas experience!

The mini-feis did fly by, and team are well underway. We're about a half hour away from awards (guestimate!!)

I can't promise to have the results up quite as immediately as yesterday, but I will do my best to snag some willing victim (oops...volunteer!) to help us out during awards.

We'll be back!

Under 11 Girls Competitors Tierney M & Hayley P waiting for round 2 to start

Things are moving along on both stages. Under 12 and Under 13 Girls are both nearing the end of their hardshoe rounds. Soft Shoe for Under 10 and 11 Boys will be starting once these rounds are complete! Second round is scheduled for 9:30 and it looks like both stages are running very close to on time.

It's a beautiful sunny day overlooking Niagara Falls. National anthems have been sung and the Under 10 and Under 11 age groups have started. The boys have already danced their hard round and girls are about to begin!
